Tuition, Refund, and Reimbursement Policy

1. Tuition and Payment Structure

Tuition is established on an annual basis and may be paid in full or through an approved payment plan. Enrollment is considered complete once all required forms have been submitted and the initial payment has been received. For families utilizing the Utah Fits All (UFA) Scholarship, tuition is paid in a single lump sum at the beginning of the school year. This payment structure is determined by the UFA program and is not set or adjustable by Foundation Christian Academy.

2. Enrollment Commitment

Enrollment at Foundation Christian Academy is for the full academic year. Staffing, curriculum, and facility commitments are made based on student enrollment; therefore, families are financially responsible for tuition as outlined below.

An enrollment fee of $500 is due upon acceptance to Foundation Christian Academy. This is a non-refundable fee that goes toward curriculum and supply purchases to prepare for the school year and cannot be refunded.

3. Withdrawal and Refund Policy

Before the First Day of School

  • If a student withdraws prior to the first day of instruction, any tuition paid will be refunded minus a non-refundable enrollment fee of $500.00.

After the School Year Begins

  • Tuition may be refunded if the student is withdrawn before the end of September, less $1,500.
  • Withdrawals made after September 30 of the current school year are not eligible for a refund. Budgeting, supplies, and staffing decisions are based on enrollment and are not adjusted after the school year begins. Therefore, refunds cannot be issued for withdrawals occurring after the end of September.

4. Utah Fits All (UFA) Scholarship Funds

Foundation Christian Academy participates in the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program and complies with all applicable state requirements.

  • UFA funds are applied only to approved educational expenses, including tuition and required program fees.
  • If a student withdraws before the end of September, any unused UFA funds will be returned or handled in accordance with Utah Fits All program guidelines. Under no circumstance shall Foundation Christian Academy directly refund a scholarship student or the parent of a scholarship student directly.
  • Families are responsible for any tuition or fees not covered by UFA funds. This may include such charges as optional field trips, after school programs, or student club fees.

5. School Closure or Program Changes

In the event that the school is unable to continue operations:

  • Tuition paid for unused instructional time will be refunded on a prorated basis
  • UFA funds will be handled in accordance with state program requirements

6. Policy Acknowledgment

By enrolling a student, families acknowledge that they have read and agree to this Tuition, Refund, and Reimbursement Policy.

7. Nondiscriminatory Policy

Foundation Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, or other school-administered programs.
