What We Believe

At Foundation Christian Academy, our beliefs shape not only what we teach, but how we teach, lead, and interact with students. We are a Bible-based, Christ-centered school that seeks to present truth clearly, faithfully, and with humility.

While we are not affiliated with a specific denomination, our teaching reflects the core beliefs of historic Christianity, with an openness to the active work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.

The Authority of Scripture

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the foundation for truth, the standard for right and wrong, and the guide for both faith and daily living.

All instruction at Foundation Christian Academy is grounded in Scripture and seeks to help students understand and apply biblical truth to every area of life.

God and the Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

  • God the Father is the Creator and sustainer of all things
  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man
  • The Holy Spirit is active in the world and in the lives of believers

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ:

  • Was born of a virgin
  • Lived a sinless life
  • Died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins
  • Rose bodily from the dead
  • Will return again

Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone, through grace by faith.

Salvation

We believe that:

  • All people are created in the image of God but are separated from Him by sin
  • Salvation is a gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ
  • A transformed life is the natural result of genuine faith

We desire for students to understand the Gospel and to grow in a personal relationship with Christ.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit:

  • Dwells within believers
  • Guides, convicts, and empowers them
  • Produces spiritual growth and transformation

We are open to the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, including spiritual gifts, while seeking to approach these matters with wisdom, discernment, and biblical grounding.

Christian Living

We believe that followers of Christ are called to:

  • Live lives marked by love, humility, and integrity
  • Pursue truth and righteousness
  • Treat others with respect and compassion

We seek to help students apply biblical principles to real-life situations, developing both conviction and character.

Family and Partnership

We believe that parents are the primary spiritual and moral influence in a child’s life.

Foundation Christian Academy exists to partner with families, reinforcing and supporting what is taught and practiced at home. We seek alignment, not division, between school and family life.

Education and Truth

We believe that all truth is God’s truth.

Education is not separate from faith, but deeply connected to it. We aim to:

  • Develop critical thinking
  • Encourage thoughtful discussion
  • Equip students to engage the world with both truth and grace

Our Approach

As a non-denominational school, we:

  • Focus on core Christian beliefs
  • Avoid unnecessary division over secondary issues
  • Teach with clarity, conviction, and humility

We desire to create an environment where students can:

  • Ask questions
  • Engage deeply
  • Grow in both understanding and faith

Final Thought

Our goal is not simply to transfer knowledge, but to help shape students who are:

👉 Rooted in truth
👉 Growing in character
👉 Prepared to live with purpose

“If you have questions about our beliefs or how they are taught in the classroom, we welcome the opportunity to talk with you.”
